El arte está

en las calles

Taylor came across this phrase spray painted on a city wall in Oaxaca, México. Translated as, “The art is in the streets,” she was immediately inspired by it’s simple yet bold message. “El arte está en las calles,” is a reminder to herself that passion, creativity, and inspiration come from within ourselves and our environments—they cannot be bought or taught. It is about finding community in all artists, not just the ones represented by galleries or showcased in the media. It is a pledge to embracing authenticity, encouraging ourselves and others, and remembering where it all started.
